Green Eggs and Ham
A young family, a love of colour and a kitchen that was always going to be green. Green Eggs and Ham brings a playful palette and some clever planning to everyday life in Kew East.
What began as a kitchen brief grew to include the living and dining spaces, bathroom and a new powder room. At the heart of the home, a central joinery core houses a mudroom and entry storage on one side, with the kitchen on the other. Warm timber greets you at the front door, with a generous hit of green just around the corner.
The kitchen now opens to both living and dining areas, so cooking dinner doesn’t mean missing out on the conversation—or losing sight of a busy little person. There’s a place for the everyday paraphernalia, a dedicated nook for the much-loved coffee machine, and stainless steel to give the timber and green a bit of an edge.
The bathroom and powder room get in on the fun too, with colour tying the spaces together. Plenty of personality, plenty of practicality, and room for family life to happen.
